We love Walther pistols because of their great ergonomic grips and the Walther PK380 is no exception. Walthers also use a European style of magazine release. Instead of being a button on the left side of the grip like most American pistols it is a lever at the bottom of the trigger guard. Some people dislike this syle but we find it to be quicker and easier than the American system as well as being totally ambidextious.
“The PK380 has a traditional double action/single action operating mechanism. The double action trigger pull measured ten and one-quarter pounds on the sample pistol, and the single action pull measured four pounds, thirteen ounces. Both trigger pulls felt good and smooth.
The Walther PK380 is a dandy auto pistol for defense, either at home or when carried concealed. It is reliable, accurate, and easy to shoot well. The slide operates easier than any other centerfire auto of which I am aware. The pistol points naturally, and is easy to handle.”
