To God Be The Glory – Andrea Crouch

Andrea Crouch - Rebecca Alderman

As we reflect upon this Inauguration weekend of our 45th President of the United States, President Donald Trump, and watch his family stand beside him, I’m simply amazed at all God has done for us as a nation despite our lack of love toward Him, the Almighty. I know many prayed long hours to see our nation turn around for righteousness sake and while we can’t stop praying yet, we can stop for a moment to give God the glory. We’ve chosen the Legendary Andrea Crouch song, My Tribute, to do just that.

To God Be The Glory – Andrea Crouch

As a young child learning to play piano and sing publicly, recording albums and performing across multiple states, Andrea Crouch was my hero, my mentor from afar – I simply loved the way he did “music”.  And I wanted a piece of his artistic ability to flow through me, too.  I never quite mastered Crouch’s rhythm patterns but he did teach me to give God the glory due Him.

Here’s a video of that song Crouch wrote so many years ago and performed live, “My Tribute”….

My Tribute (To God Be The Glory)

How can I say thanks for the things
You have done for me?
Things so undeserved yet you gave
To prove your love for me
The voices of a million angels
Could not express my gratitude
All that I am, and ever hope to be
I owe it all to thee

To God be the glory, to God be the glory
To God be the glory for the things he has done
With his blood he has saved me
With his power he has raised me
To God be the glory for the things he has done
Just let me live my life and
Let it be pleasing Lord to thee
And if I gain any praise, let it go to calvary
With his blood he has saved me
With his power he has raised me
To God be the glory for the things he has done
